Kosciuszko Heritage has received a surprise from the Kosciuszko Mound in Krakow: a package with two copies of the comic book for children and young people Kosciuszko in Krakow 1794 and Krzysztoforek: The magazine for young explorers, as well as many postcards depicting Kosciuszko Mound and Kosciuszko himself.

Ernestyna Skurjat-Kozek, the president of Kosciuszko Heritage, sincerely thanked the Director of the Office of the Kosciuszko Mound, Leszek Cierpiałowski MA, for the wonderful surprise gift.

“I heard about the comic – the first story in graphic format about our national hero – not long ago, when it appeared in print,” said Ernestyna. “A big round of applause for the Mound for such a wonderful initiative. And, of course, big applause for the artist, Peter Urbanek, who created the work.”
