Celtic sounds at the festival

Two musicians from a famous Irish orchestra will join us at the Over the Moonbah festival in April. Lynn and Darryl, the Drum Sergeant and Pipe Corporal of the Canberra Celtic Pipe Band, will play on Saturday in Moonbah.

Their performance will contribute wonderfully to the festival's Irish side, which will include the launch of a new monograph: The Best of Human Nature: Strzelecki's Humanitarian Work in Ireland by Felix Molski. The book explores the work of Sir Paul Edmund Strzelecki, who, during the Great Famine in Ireland, saved more than 200,000 children from the terrible famine, and perhaps even starvation.

Visit the Canberra Celtic Pipe Band's website to find out more about the group and its members.
