Image: Flags on the Summit of Mount KosciuszkoThe second Kosciuszko Run from Charlotte Pass Village to the summit of Mt. Kosciuszko will be held on Saturday, February 12, 2011.

This will be followed by A Day of Fun at Kosciuszko Run in the Village: a concert to honour the runners, a medal presentation ceremony, an all-day picnic, stalls, Polish sausages, famous potato pancakes, and Kosciuszko Wines and Kosciuszko Beer tastings!

They are sponsored by: Wspólnota Polska, the Blum Foundation, the National Parks and Wildlife Service, Elouera Ski Club and Pygmy Possum Lodge, the Polish Ex-Servicemen's Association in Australia, Charlotte Pass Village and the Kosciuszko Hotel, the Kosciuszko Brewing Company, Kosciusko Wines, the Polish Embassy and Consulate General, and Puls Polonii.

Kosciuszko Run will take place at 9:00am. The 11km course starts outside Kosciuszko Hotel in Charlotte Pass Village (off the Kosciuszko Rd. in Kosciuszko National Park) and finishes at the summit of Mt. Kosciuszko. The altitude at the start is 1740m and 2228m at the finish.
