Memorandum signed

The Monaro Ngarigo people, the traditional custodians of Mt Kosciuszko, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the NSW Government.

Under the Memorandum, the Southern Snowy Mountains Aboriginal Community will be formally involved in the conservation of Kosciuszko National Park with the National Parks and Wildlife Service (NPWS).

The Polish television station TV TRWAM has screened the documentary Kosciuszko: Poland Will Yet Dance.

The film was shown on Thursday, April 14, 2016 at 11pm.

Kosciuszko Heritage also received a package from the U.S. from the outstanding writer and journalist Alex Storozynski, who sent a DVD with a documentary also about Kosciuszko.…

Kosciuszko music in Chicago

A CD with Kosciuszko-related music is being produced by a legendary ‘polka-man’ in Chicago.

Chet Schafer has contacted Ernestyna Skurjat-Kozek, the president of Kosciuszko Heritage, asking for Kosciuszko recordings. This is the second such request and Ernestyna has happily obliged.

The CD is being produced for the Polish Museum of America.
